With a new year comes new intentions to better ourselves – less stress, less anxiety, better sleep and better relationships. We recently tried out the Headspace app which is designed to help you with daily mindfulness for 10 minutes a day.
Many of you may already practice meditation and realize the benefits. If you haven’t given it a try, the Headspace app is meditation made simple. You can practice it anywhere, any time. Stressed out at the airport? Plug in for 10 minutes of mindfulness techniques to become calmer and more collected. Can’t sleep? Try listening to a few minutes of the app to learn how to relax the body and let go of the day.
Meditation does not need to be done in complete silence or darkness. There are sessions you can pick depending on your mood, lifestyle and how long you want the session to be. It has quickly become a favourite app for Frank Danielson. One restless night, Frank was able to test out the mindfulness techniques for sleeping and was able to fall into a peaceful slumber within minutes.
